Version 16.1.0 - November 2024

The latest EventsAir release (16.1.0) includes a number of improvements and resolutions to issues, as documented below, and will be rolled out from Tuesday 19th November.

IMPROVED

Custom Domains authorization 
  • Clearer wording on Custom Domains authorization pop-up. 
UI uplift - additional improvements 
  • New styling on “Recent/Pinned Attendee” hover card.

  •  Updated “Re-assign” in Project Manager & Run Sheet to “Reassign” for consistency.

  •  Screens/fields extended to allow for longer item names (e.g. in the Attendees Panel - Agenda itemsTravel sectors; Accommodation tabs)

  • Wider screens to show all columns/items (Bulk Creation; Bulk Delete; CE Course Attendance) and in Setup Panel (Registrations, Functions, Accommodation, Travel, Presentations, Accounting & Custom Fields).

Custom Domains

Validation 
  • Domain validation wasn’t being applied correctly when setting up a custom domain for an event website. [REF: PQ-331]

Online panel - Attendee App

Agenda
  • The option to show Agenda items based on location was also applying to Headings & Information blocks (which have no location, so weren’t showing). [REF: PQ-469]
Attendee search
  • Attendee Search for more than 200 attendees wasn’t immediately loading in the correct order. [REF: AE-71]
Gamification goals
  • EventStream Engage Goals set to be only available via the OnAir Portal were also visible in the Attendee App. [REF: PQ-63]
Merge doc Auto Login token
  •  An auto login token added to a Merge Doc via HTML element wasn't launching the Attendee App correctly on Android devices. [REFS: PE-424, PQ-492]
News
  • Attendee App news component didn’t update correctly unless manually saved or Auto Refresh rolled over. [REF: AE-17]
Text used for refresh interval error warning
  • Error message if Auto App Refresh dates were put in incorrectly said “less than” when it should have said “greater than”. [REF: AE-98]
Static Content component HTML text
  • Large blocks of text weren’t wrapping correctly (would go off the screen) in Static Content HTML components. [REF: AE-72]

Online panel - Interactive sites

Group registrations 
  • Adding a Group Component to a registration site was causing sign-in to fail. [REF: PE-478]
Changing/editing items (when registering)
  • Selecting the “No Accommodation Required” checkbox on a registration site would cancel bookings made later, even after the box was unchecked. [REF: PQ-34]
  • Intermittent issue – editing (canceling) Registration or Function items after getting to the Summary Page would sometimes fail to cancel them on submission. [REFS: PQ-544, PE-512]
Logic 
  •  If an attendee re-visited a site they’d been to earlier, any Part Logic wasn’t respected; any page with both Component and Page Logic applied to the same page would display all options. [REFS: PQ-520, PQ-137, PQ-548]
  • Component Logic wasn’t working if it was based on a Function Fee Type with an input type of Number. [REF: PQ-542]

Reporting

Intermittent error - Tax Summary List
  • Total Report Values in the Tax Summary List report would sometimes not calculate correctly. [REF: PQ-263]
