When creating your Agenda (or in the Functions or Presentations module), EventsAir will ask you to create a unique name for each item (as this is needed to differentiate between sessions).
For example, if you're holding a 3-day event with a Morning Break session each day from 10-10:30am, you are unable to name this session ‘Morning Break’ for all three days. Trying to do this will result in the error message below:
You can add something to the name to make it unique, for example:
-
Example 1: Morning Break Day 1, Morning Break Day 2, Morning Break Day 3
-
Example 2: Monday Morning Break, Tuesday Morning Break, Wednesday Morning Break
ALTERNATIVE METHOD:
You can add invisible characters - also known as whitespace characters - to the session name, to replace spaces between words. There are some limitations to this method.
This won't work if you add characters to the end of the session names. They must be copy-pasted into the session name field, to replace spaces. (So if you have four words in your session name, you have three spaces you can replace and therefore 3 versions of your session name.)
Even though they'll look the same to an attendee, they'll still have unique session names in the 'back end' of your event.
You can search online for whitespace character generators, for example: https://www.namecheap.com/visual/font-generator/whitespace/
The session names will all look the same in exports and reports, so It's a good idea to keep a record of what characters you've used to avoid confusion.
