Session Roles

Many conference organizers assign multiple roles that are associated with a given session. With Session Roles, you are now able to create a library of session roles specific to your requirements.

Assigned just like a Chairperson or Sponsor, you are able to add an existing contact, or create a new contact and assign a specific Session Role as required.

Session Roles are useful for all types of events but are required for use in virtual or hybrid events as this how you will assign presenters, AIRCast Studio Hosts, Moderators or Interpreters.

Session Roles are simply a matter of accessing the Session Role option in Presentation Setup and creating the Session Roles you wish to assign for your meeting.

Defining Your List of Session Roles

Session Roles are defined in Session Setup in the section called Session Role (found in the settings list on the left side of the Presentation Module in the Setup Panel).

Simply add new session roles as required, and they will become visible in the Session Roles tab when you are setting up a session.

Assigning Session Roles

Session Roles are assigned as part of a session - just as you would do for a sponsor or reviewer.

In the Session Setup screen, simply select the Roles tab, and either select a contact already in your database, or create a new Session Role assignment on the fly.
